Youths Ministry
Glad Tidings Youth ministry connects the youth to the heart of God. Our mission is to prepare youth for a lifelong walk with Christ by helping them become aware of God as revealed in Jesus Christ. We assist the youth to thrive through the development of healthy relationships and networks with other youths and caring leaders. This is a place to belong for the young.
In a world of limited resources and inequitable distribution of resources and power, we guide the youth to adopt a bible rooted response to life’s challenges and Christ oriented lifestyle. Our focus is at a 360 degree angle: we guide them towards committing themselves to a Christian perspective of morality, support growth in bible understanding and acceptance of self by affirmation, biblical concepts of self-image, application of biblical truths in everyday life; encourage the development of meaningful and devotional prayer life, social skills and good habits; promote the selection of a vocation premised on a Christian values; and guide them in the prudent stewardship of their money, time, and abilities We exist to propel the youth to their God given greatness.
We offer a number of engaging and energizing experiences tailored for the youth. We have fun together, learn and grow together. Our youth participate in Christian missions and are an active part of the church and are equipped with leadership skills.
