Sunday School
Our Sunday school is dedicated to partnering with parents to lead children to become fully devoted followers of Christ. Through age-specific lessons, activities, and small groups, children learn biblical truths and real-life lessons they can apply to their lives every day.
Sunday school children are exposed to:
- Learning about God
When our little ones go to Sunday school, they will find the age-appropriate Bible teaching their young minds are so eager to absorb. The church has shaped the lessons to meet the comprehension level and interest of any age. The Sunday school teachers incorporate fun activities, like crafts and skits, into the lesson so our children will be able to remember them.
- Finding mentors
Parenting is tough, but when you have Sunday school teachers working to mentor our children, they can provide another source of guidance. The church is a community where everyone helps their neighbours. When we bring our children to Sunday school, we are rest assured that there is qualified help for their spiritual education.
- Making friends
If we want our children to make more friends, Sunday school is a great place to find them. As they learn and play together on Sunday mornings, they will be able to form healthy friendships with children whose parents have the same priorities as us.
- Forming good habits
If we start consistently taking our kids to church when they’re young, they will forever learn the good habits of church attendance. For the rest of their lives, they’ll benefit from the knowledge they gained in Sunday school.
- Having fun
Don’t forget the importance of play and fun. With talented teachers, great activities, and friends they enjoy, our little ones will love going to Sunday school every week. This is a great way to show our kids learning about God can be really cool.
If you’re looking for a great church to get your family plugged into, look no further than Glad Tidings Fellowship City Church. With open arms, we welcome any who are interested, and you’ll quickly find your kids are part of a loving community.
